The Brother HL-1110 printer, DCP-1510 copier-based MFP and MFC-1810 MFP are all based on the same monochrome print engine, with OEM-rated print speeds of 20 pages per minute (ppm) and duty cycles ratings of 9,000 pages per month. Other models built around this print engine were also introduced, having slightly different print specifications.
The supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and separate drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges have an OEM-stated yield of 1,000 pages and the drum unit, 10,000 pages. A flag, or reset gear, is required on the toner cartridge for correct printer operation.
